Thanks for inspiring women in the boardroom and the bedroom

Jacqueline was a woman who really cared. When she asked how you were - she really wanted to know and she really listened.

When I was Editor of Cosmopolitan we shared a vision of inspiring women to own their sexuality as well as giving them the confidence and opportunities to define themselves in the workplace on their terms.

I wasn't sure what to expect before I first met her. But this petite, perfectly-groomed powerhouse was not just the smartest woman in the room, she was kind, glamorous, warm, brave, emotionally intelligent and fabulous. A girl's girl who triumphed through so much she re-defined the image of a succesful business woman.

Now I am involved with breast cancer charity, Future Dreams, and see on a daily basis how much someone has to cope with after diagnosis. Jacqueline dealt with all that at the same time as still supporting those around her who needed her help and wisdom.

It was a privilege to have known her, to have heard her speak and watched her in action.  Sending love to her beloved family and all those who loved her and miss her. A true trailblazer and a wonderful one-off of a woman who made the biggest impact not just on those close to her but generations of women across the UK.

Thank you Jacqueline.
